Angelle Albright

Angelle grew up as the youngest of six in a big Catholic family in Metairie, but in many ways, she felt like an only child.  Her childhood home was filled with religious friends of her parents and the rhythms of Catholic life.  But at just six years old, the unthinkable happened: a trusted priest entered their lives leaving wounds that would shape the next four decades of her life.

What followed was a long, painful journey marked by confusion, betrayal, and deacdes of hidden wounds. Her ability to trust was shattered, her faith darkened, and she spent much of her youth and adulthood searching for happiness anywhere she could find it, especially in the places the world promises joy but never delivers.

From the outside, Angelle built a life that looked picture-perfect: a successful career, a loving husband, three beautiful children, and even her own company. But inside, she was unraveling. The pain of her past kept resurfacing, and despite every earthly success, she felt like she was slowly fading away.
Then, in a moment of profound desperation, she prayed a prayer no one should ever pray, to die. She was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, news that brought her to the very edge of herself. Yet this moment of darkness opened a door she never expected, a door through which God would begin to speak again.

Through a series of extraordinary encounters, including meeting Immaculee, a Rwandan genocide survivor, Angelle found herself on a path she could never have imaged, one that led her back to the Catholic Church, A path to healing, and a relationship with God she had long believed was impossible.
God broke through decades of pain, used suffering, unexpected friendships, and the gentle love of the Blessed Mother to rebuild her heart. He transformed the very wounds that once consumed her into a mission of hope. Her journey is the incredible story of how grace found her, rescued her, and taught her the meaning of true healing.
